As the man spoke, her dog started growling and getting defensive, which he doesn’t usually do.
The man told her he “had the right address” and that she needed to get downstairs quickly because her food was getting cold.
However, he wasn’t holding a pizza box. He wasn’t carrying anything.
She tried telling him that she didn’t order a pizza and that he had the wrong address to get him to go away. Then, his bad intentions started to show as he kept insisting that she go downstairs to pay for the pizza. His tone became angry, and he kept telling her the same things over and over again, trying to get her to open the door for him.
“My dog was really making quite a bit of fuss at this point, and the stranger had turned into a broken record,” she said.
Finally, her next-door neighbor heard the commotion and opened his front door to see what was happening. Once the strange man saw the neighbor, he immediately took off.
Since that night, she wondered why the strange man chose her house and why it was her neighbor and not her large barking dog that drove him away. Either way, it’s a good thing something finally spooked him.
