Feigning surprise, he told Caysie he had used the gift card on a date last week and had completely forgotten about it.
“So he just looks at me…and I was like, what? He was like, my mom hasn’t put any money into my account this week. Do you think you got this?” Caysie recalled.
Since he didn’t have any other form of payment, Caysie had to pay for their entire meal and his lunch for tomorrow. At this point, she was ready to go home, but he kept insisting that she go over to his place.
Caysie held her ground, and he finally relented and drove her home. A month later, she saw him at brunch, and he pretended he didn’t know who she was.
Several TikTok users accused him of planning this whole scheme out beforehand, and they all just generally agreed this man was no good.
“Wow, the audacity. And saying his mom hasn’t put money in his account, come on, lol,” commented one user.
“As soon as you said he asked to take food for lunch the next day, I knew this wasn’t his first rodeo at the garden,” declared another.
“Nah, he knew what he was doing…just used you sadly,” wrote a third.
