Then, he mentioned that he and his friend would be going on a summer trip to another place she’s always wanted to go to as a family.
She said she ‘grudgingly’ gave her husband her blessing but regretted it once she learned that each of her husband’s trips would be three weeks long.
It would be the longest period of time he’s ever been away from their family, and he would miss many events related to their children.
“I cried and told him I felt betrayed and abandoned like he was leaving me here to raise the kids while he just goes on doing what he wants and living his life without me,” she recalled.
Her husband found her words hurtful and told her that he should be allowed to travel and see beautiful things. He’s making her feel terrible, and she’s wondering how she should handle the situation.
Now, she’s considering asking him if he would at least shorten his abroad trips to one week.
