“They say the drive is too hard with the limited time off she has, and she’s usually too tired to come anyways,” she explained. “But not too tired for Hawaii or Cancun?”
Her brother has also mentioned not wanting to visit by himself, as the mental strain of his wife’s job has been heavy on her, and he doesn’t want to leave her alone.
Although their lack of visiting has been hard on her, her brother and sister-in-law have suggested that she and her family drive to visit them at their house during the holidays. Even though her sister-in-law would be working, she would join in on the festivities as soon as she got off.
However, she said she hasn’t been able to do that, as the seven-hour drive is too difficult with her baby. She’s still upset with her family for not visiting her, and they’re becoming frustrated with her attitude.
