Sleepy Girl Mocktail

Do you find yourself struggling to fall asleep at night and ready to try something new to make you sleepy? You may need to try the ‘Sleepy Girl mocktail,’ a new beverage taking TikTok by storm.

Lifestyle content creator Gracie Norton (@gracie_norton) created the clever beverage to drink when she struggles to fall asleep.

After posting a video on how she makes it, tons of TikTok users are trying it out for themselves.

The pink bedtime beverage is made up of pure tart cherry juice, magnesium powder, and lemon-lime seltzer. Tart cherries are a natural source of melatonin, and magnesium is known for helping people have a more restful, deep sleep.

To make the sleepy girl mocktail, begin by adding ice to a glass. Many users have been stirring up the mocktail in a nice wine glass to make themselves feel extra fancy!

Next, pour in a half cup of tart cherry juice. Then, add a tablespoon of a powdered magnesium supplement, which many brands make and sell online. Stir it all up until the powder has dissolved.

Finally, top off the drink with a lemon-lime seltzer. Gracie and other users have been using the lemon-lime Ollipop soda, which contains probiotics, but any fizzy seltzer will do! Give the drink a final stir to combine, and you’re done!

A TikTok user named Kelly (@kellysbooknook) filmed herself making the drink before bed as she complained about not being able to stay asleep during the night.

After trying it out, she told her viewers it “worked like a charm.”
