“Secondly, I don’t know why you would post a video like that when you know I follow you,” she continued.
The babysitter then informed Jacob that she had blocked him on TikTok so she would never have to see anything like that again.
She also told him to let his viewers know that she did not smell like seafood chowder. The video ended with her stating that she didn’t even eat seafood chowder because she hates seafood.
Many people in the comments section sympathized with the sitter, while others thought her actions were somewhat dramatic.
“People on the internet are truly disturbed to pick on someone that’s clearly upset. Take yourselves back to kindergarten,” commented one TikTok user.
“First of all, clam chowder smells delicious. Second of all, don’t let other people’s negativity get to you. That’s what they want,” offered another.
“She could have let this all blow over and never put a face to the smell,” pointed out a third.
“Why is she pressed about something a child said,” wrote someone else.
What do you think? Was the dad in the wrong? Or did the babysitter dig herself into a deeper hole by staging a confrontation?
