This Teen Started Experiencing Panic Attacks For The First Time, And She’s Convinced They’ve Been Brought On By One Of Her Teachers

She started becoming very scared of her teacher and began having panic attacks over her comments. Before now, she had never had panic attacks.

“More comments accrued, which eventually led to me having panic attacks outside of class and sometimes in class,” she said. “It got to the point where they started happening in other [classes].”

Her drama teacher noticed how stressed she was and got her to tell him what was wrong. When she revealed how upset she was over one of her teachers, her drama teacher said he’d look into the situation.

Unfortunately, the mean teacher discovered what she said and snapped at her. After class, she made her stay behind and scolded her. Her teacher angrily told her she had no right to go behind her back and talk about her to another teacher.

“At this point, I had broken out into another panic attack,” she remembered.

That’s when she finally told her teacher, “I wouldn’t be talking about you to other teachers if you weren’t giving me panic attacks.”

Since this meeting, she’s been on bad terms with this teacher. She’s been trying her best to participate in her class, but now she’s being treated as if she doesn’t exist.

What would you do if you were in her situation?
