He was annoyed by the bill and told her to stop being a “cheapskate” and split the large bill with the rest of the group.
She tried to explain the situation to him, but he got even angrier and raised his voice. He called her tight-fisted and selfish.
“I got flustered, paid my bill, and left,” she recalled.
