Behind her car was a man she had never seen before running full speed towards her. It was absolutely terrifying, and she put the car into gear and drove away as fast as possible.
“As she’s looking back at me in the car seat, making sure that I’m okay, she sees the guy give up running after her and runs back into the ditch to hide,” he explained.
What makes her story so disturbing is that there are hardly ever any people hanging around that dirt road. The rural area near her family ranch is extremely isolated, and on that day, she didn’t see any cars or signs of life on the road leading up to the ranch that day.
The man seemed to come out of nowhere, and she had an awful feeling about his intentions. When his mom returned home safely and told her parents, they were just as stunned and had no idea who the man could’ve been.
Thankfully, they didn’t see any sign of the man again. Over the years, as his mom has replayed the incident in her mind, she gets increasingly freaked out as she thinks about what that man could’ve done to her and her baby if he had reached her car. The story scares her so much that she’s only told it to him twice and now refuses to talk about it anymore.
“My mom was a petite 19-year-old woman with her 8-month-old infant in the back seat when this happened,” he added.
“I highly doubt she could have been any help to him. We will never know why this guy was out there, and frankly, I don’t think we ever want to.”
