However, that wasn’t the last they would hear from him. For several years after the friendship between this man and her parents ended, she would receive presents on her doorstep from him for holidays and birthdays.
Some of them were expensive and personalized. It freaked out her family.
Thankfully, the gifts stopped arriving after three years, and he stopped bothering them. It probably had to do with the little girl her mom would one day see riding on his shoulders in public, surrounded by a new family a few years later.
Needless to say, I’m relieved to hear that this woman is rid of that man!
