So, his girlfriend saw, and she made a remark about how crazy it was that the women’s bodies looked so good. His girlfriend also said she would love to have a similar build. Now, he claimed to have thought his girlfriend’s remark was a “hint” suggesting that she would want to work out more at the gym.
“So I said that if she wanted a body like that, she could start working out and that doing a lot of glute and leg exercises could give her the results she wants,” he explained. “I also suggested that we could find her a trainer or, if she wants, it could just be us.”
While he genuinely got excited to share his hobby with his girlfriend, though, she just got very offended and angry that he suggested she try out the gym.
In fact, his girlfriend got so upset that she left their bedroom and hung out in the living room for the rest of the morning. Then, once he asked what was wrong, his girlfriend admitted that he had made her feel bad about her body. In the end, she also left his house to head back to her place– leaving him alone when they were supposed to spend the day together.
“I feel confused. I really don’t see what I was doing wrong, and I feel like she kind of flew off the handle for no reason,” he vented.
Regardless, he’s now been left wondering whether telling his girlfriend to go to the gym if she’s unhappy with her body was a jerky thing to do.
