When she confronted Sarah about eating her food, Sarah apologized and said she thought the food was for the entire office to share. However, she didn’t buy that excuse.
As the year went on, Sarah only got worse.
“She began using my personal laptop without asking, even though we all have our own work computers,” she explained.
“She would also use my coffee mug and other personal items, despite me having my name on them. I tried to address it politely and asked her to stop, but she would just laugh it off and say she didn’t mean any harm.”
Things came to a breaking point a few days ago after she left her brand-new pair of expensive headphones at her desk overnight. When she came into work the following day, you can probably guess who was wearing them – Sarah.
She lost it and demanded that Sarah hand over the headphones. She told her she had enough of her using her belongings without asking.
Once again, Sarah tried to laugh the situation off, but she told her it wasn’t funny. She told Sarah she had been disrespecting her and violating her privacy.
Many people from the office heard the commotion. Most of her coworkers agree with her, although some believe she should apologize to Sarah for confronting her in front of everyone.
The atmosphere in the office has been awkward since her outburst, and Sarah isn’t speaking to her.
