“My sister decided to say, in front of my friend who also lives at home, that it’s super weird that I still live at home,” she revealed. “And when she was 25, she was already married with a child.”
After her sister said that, she tried to explain her own perspective. More specifically, she is saving up to move out right now and doesn’t plan to have kids until she’s in her thirties.
Still, her sister just laughed in her face and claimed that 30 years old was so old to have children. So, she snapped and clapped back at her sister.
“Well, not all of us are lucky enough to marry rich,” she responded.
If you could not have guessed, her sister took offense to that comment and called her a jerk. That’s why she did end up apologizing.
But ever since she called her sister out, she’s still been left wondering whether that actually made her a jerk or if it was justified.
Why do you think her sister continues to judge her so hard? Did she have a right to finally call her sister out, too? How would you have reacted in this awkward situation?
