In March, This 26-Year-Old From Florida Vanished After Getting Into A Pickup Truck With Two Men She Did Not Know

Sara’s introduction to the “cowboys”– two unidentified males– was seen on surveillance footage around the same time. She and the men were spotted leaving a Circle K gas station located at 17980 North Highway 441 in a black pickup truck. However, what exactly happened after Sara left the gas station remains unknown. She never made it back home and has not been seen or heard from since.

After realizing that Sara never returned, her roommate did try to file a missing person’s report with authorities on March 3, 2023. However, the police told Sara’s roommate that she would have to wait one week. So, Sara’s family members eventually filed a missing person report for the 26-year-old after they could not get in contact with her.

Upon launching an investigation, authorities did figure out the identity of the two men in the black pickup truck. While the males were interviewed, though, no further information was released to the public.

Instead, investigators later claimed that Sara was actually last seen getting into a blue Sedan– which might have been a Hyundai– during the early morning hours of March 3, 2023. Since the investigation is ongoing, however, authorities have not revealed whether they found either the blue sedan or the vehicle’s owner.

Sara’s sister claimed that one of the unidentified man’s roommates recalled how Sara had gone to his home that evening. Afterward, the roommate claimed Sara hung out at the residence until sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. before leaving in her own car.

Still, the exact circumstances surrounding Sara’s disappearance have remained unclear, and the investigation is ongoing. At the time she vanished, Sara was five foot two, weighed 120 pounds, and had brown hair and blue eyes. She also had a tattoo on her right hip.

If you have any information regarding Sara’s disappearance or whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at (352) 368-3508.
