“As the host, Mom, I tell them no way,” she explained. “Their parents won’t be thinking they’re safely in a home with parental supervision while they are actually out.”
Then, the girls said that if they couldn’t return to her house, they’d find another place to sleep before hanging up. Bella and one other friend were stunned and incredibly disappointed.
They couldn’t fathom the idea of the girls wanting to sit in a silent movie theater instead of attending their sleepover party.
She texted the other girls’ moms and told them they didn’t return to her house, and she couldn’t say for sure what they would be doing for the rest of the night. Surprisingly, one of the moms, Carla, said she was fine with her daughter going out.
Carla had no issue with her daughter going out to do who knows what instead of going to the planned sleepover and told her she should support them.
On the other hand, she thinks Carla and the other girls did Bella and her friend wrong for ditching the sleepover party.
Do you think she overreacted to the girls’ decision, or is she right to be mad?
