He argued that he paid for the sweets so he didn’t have to give her anything.
“I told him that we buy most of our groceries with his dad’s and my money, so we could use the same logic,” she remembered.
“He continued arguing until I threatened to ground him, and he finally gave in.”
Her stepson was very angry with her, and when her husband came home from work, he was upset to hear about what happened.
Her husband was angry that she treated his son “like a little kid” when all he was doing was being responsible and protecting what he had bought with his own money. Then, he told her not to take out her frustrations on his son.
Was she wrong to make her stepson share his snacks, or was her stepson being selfish?
