She Got Reprimanded By A Woman She Petsits For After She Wouldn’t Let Her Dogs Slobber In Her Face

“She said it was important that someone not turn away from her dogs when they show excitement since she wants to encourage them to be friendly,” she recalled.

At first, she thought this client was joking. She sarcastically asked her client if she wanted her to allow the dogs to breathe and slobber in her face anytime she was over. To her amazement, the client said yes very seriously.

The next time she went to this client’s house, she was asked to sit at the bottom of her staircase and let the dogs come to her.

When one of the dogs started getting all up in her face, the client told her not to turn him away and that she’ll learn to love it.

“I did my best to hold my breath, but after all the dogs had their turn, I was ready to puke,” she remembered.

“I held it in as best I could until she was out the door and then gagged and felt sick for half an hour.”

The next time she was over there at the same time as her client, she did her best to bear the dogs’ bad breath, but she had to turn at least once, and the client became very upset.

Her client claimed that a “real dog person” could take all the smothering attention and became offended when she said their breath was bad.

Finally, she got fed up and yelled, “Stop trying to get me to smell your dogs’ breath, you weirdo!” before storming out of the client’s house.

She left her client without a dog sitter and most likely left her scrambling to find someone new at the last minute.

She definitely blew it with this client and is sad to lose such a nice flow of income. However, she couldn’t take the bad breath and slobber anymore.
