She caught a virus that her kids had the week before and woke up in the middle of the night with an insanely high fever, desperate for water.
The house was dark as she weakly made her way into the kitchen. Then, she tripped and fell over a dining table chair because, once again, it was in the wrong spot.
“I had enough,” she recalled.
“I got out my screw gun. I screwed the legs of all four chairs to the coordinating legs of the table so they cannot be moved from the long sides of the table. It is now like a fixed fast food table with attached seats.”
Once her son woke up and saw the chairs had been screwed in, he called his grandmother, and they both started whining and complaining.
They want to be able to move the chairs wherever and accused her of being overdramatic because she’s sick.
She is not budging. She doesn’t plan on removing the screws and has hidden the screw gun. She says it’s her house and furniture, so she can do whatever she wants.
Is she being overdramatic?
