Sam also said he never met Abby in person. But how was he supposed to fix a roof if he had never been to her house?
In addition, Sam gave his girlfriend a phone number to call to prove he wasn’t lying. The number belonged to his friend’s work phone, and he planned to have a girl pretending to be Abby answer the phone.
However, when Sam’s girlfriend called the number, the person on the other end of the line pretended to be a gas station. So that lie totally backfired. His girlfriend still wound up staying with him, though.
Abby never spoke to him again. But a couple of months later, she was on Bumble, and he had swiped right on her profile.
Abby took a screenshot of it and sent it to the girl to show her he was back to his old ways. The girl simply said, “Yes,” and that was the end of that.
