On top of that, Dan started expressing some interest in exclusivity. More specifically, he told her that he wanted to plan a proper date in order to prevent the chance of him “getting hurt by her.”
At that point, she reassured Dan that she would not see anyone else. Then, later that same day, he even asked her to visit him at work while he snuck out of the office.
“And we got frisky in the car before I went out to dinner with friends,” she recalled.
After she went out to eat that night, though, things started to get a bit fishy.
It all began after she tried to text Dan and realized that none of her messages were going through. At first, she tried to just ignore her suspicion that perhaps Dan had just blocked her.
However, by the following morning, she realized that was exactly what had happened. And honestly, she was seriously so hurt and confused.
That’s why she decided to reach out to Dan on Bumble. However, he had a seriously long-winded explanation about why she had gotten blocked.
Apparently, Dan claimed that he had to take his daughter to the hospital after his ex-wife accidentally slammed the car door on his daughter’s finger and actually chopped a piece off.
Plus, Dan swore that his ex-wife’s cell phone had died– meaning that his ex needed to borrow his. So, he claimed to have blocked her number to prevent his ex from receiving any of her messages.
Now, she revealed how she really did not believe Dan in the beginning. But she was eventually able to be convinced that he had been telling the truth, and she thought that was the end of it.
Well, she was far from wrong.
