She Thought She Had Met The Perfect Match, But He Turned Out To Be A Scary Stalker

However, Isabelle didn’t have any such thing. After the stranger asked if she was Isabelle, she quickly figured out that it had been Devon who was harassing her.

He could never spell her name correctly, so she was immediately tipped off to his identity when he referred to her as “isabell.” Then, she wound up confronting him about the whole situation.

“So here’s what I think happened. I think you used my phone number to sign me up for all these text messages. I think you’ve been texting me all day long from creepy phone numbers to get my attention, and you were like trying to be the hero in the end,” she said to him.

Devon admitted to everything and that it was all his plan to try to get her to talk to him again. Well, Isabelle wasn’t having it and told him never to contact her again.

If a person seems off, remember to trust your instincts like Isabelle did. It’s okay to be suspicious when your safety is hanging in the balance.
