Despite the confrontation, Mandy asked her to babysit again the following weekend and reminded her not to discipline the children.
“Since Mandy said I couldn’t discipline them, I decided to do as I was told,” she recalled.
“I watched them to make sure they didn’t try to run away from home or anything, but otherwise left Nick and Mya to their own devices. The house was obviously a wreck by the time Mandy got home.”
Mandy was furious that the house was a wreck and tried to convince her parents not to pay her. Her parents ended up paying her but told her she should’ve done a better job at getting the kids to engage in less chaotic activities instead of being “spiteful” and letting them freely destroy the house.
However, she thinks she did exactly what Mandy told her to do.
Should she have done a better job with the kids, or is she not at fault for the house being destroyed?
