“As soon as I get home, he sends me a message on WhatsApp that’s like, ‘Oh, is it really bad that I wanted to kiss you when I walked you to the car?'” said Liz.
She responded by asking him if he truly thought their date had gone well. Now, he was the one acting confused.
So she explained how he was behaving during dinner, and he sent a long message back, giving the excuse that he had gotten a message from his boss and was convinced he was getting fired.
“And I was like, okay, I’m sorry you’re going through that, but if you’re incapable of setting that aside and being polite and pleasant on a first date with a woman, then you should stay home,” ranted Liz.
Then, he started dumping all his troubles with work onto Liz. Eventually, she ended the conversation.
The following day, she received another message from him that read, “I got fired.” She did not reply and made sure to block him on social media.
What do you think? Was Liz being a bit harsh on him? Or were her actions completely justified?
