At the time, his sister was also okay with canceling her engagement party– despite everything already being paid for. On top of that, his sister even kept her wedding planning pretty quiet and secret.
But following his latest request, his sister has refused to oblige and does not want to move her wedding. After all, his sister already planned for a winter wedding, and she didn’t want that to occur in June or July.
Rather than understanding his sister’s wishes, though, they instead got into a massive argument over the event.
“This is killing me, but more importantly, it is upsetting and killing my wife,” he vented.
So now, he’s wondering whether asking his sister to “support” him and his wife by moving back her wedding was really the wrong thing to do.
Can you sympathize with him and his wife’s devastation over their loss? At the same time, was it reasonable to ask his sister to move her entire wedding because of it?
