His wife could have come along with him, but she didn’t have an interest in doing that, and he didn’t want to sit at home.
“She said that she felt like I abandoned her,” he said. “I said I worked hard my life so I could enjoy it, not to lay like a potato.”
“She said her new hobbies might be sedentary, but she enjoyed them. I said that was fine, but I didn’t want to do old people [stuff] until I absolutely had to.”
He’s left wondering if it was mean of him to tell his wife he wasn’t about to lay around at home and act old.
