“She’s four months in already, so it’s a bit too late to be talking about alternative options. Obviously, my parents are talking to her about it and [her] next steps. But for me, I don’t think I want to be involved with either [of her] children anymore.”
She’s ready to move out and keep her hard-earned money to herself instead of giving it to her sister and her children.
However, she’s struggling to tell her sister how she feels since she’s already upset that their parents aren’t being as supportive as they were the last time she was pregnant.
“My parents have already had a big chat and put their feet down, telling her that she needs to sort herself out and contribute a lot more,” she said.
“She’s come to me and told me she thought they would be happy for her and that she doesn’t like their attitudes. She doesn’t even know my opinions yet.”
Now, she’s wondering if it would be wrong of her to suddenly stop contributing to her sister’s lifestyle with baby #2 on the way.
Would she be wrong to move out and get on with her life, or is it the best thing to do for her?
