A Recent Survey Revealed That The Average American Doesn’t Hit Their “Era” Of Drinking In Moderation Until Age 29

While over half– or 57%– of respondents have a preferred drink for specific reasons, about 66% seek to shake it up in terms of their beverage choices.

In the summer, Moscato and rosé are the most popular choices at 17% and 16%, respectively. This preference also extends into the spring with similar percentages, while in the fall, merlot becomes a more favored option at 11%.

When it comes to favorites year-round, rosé still takes the top spot– with 21% naming it their preferred wine. Close behind are two white wines: Moscato at 20% and chardonnay at 12%. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, each at 8%, also make the top five.

But, 71% of the respondents concluded that, when it comes to wine, quality is more important than quantity.
