When this 27-year-old man was younger, he and his sister, who is 25, grew up with their uncle as their primary caretaker.

His mother, who is 45, sadly suffered a stroke– which left her physically unable to do many things. But, while his mom needed help raising him and his sister, he still believes that his childhood had “more than enough.”

However, his 53-year-old father was not a good guy. Apparently, his dad was abusive toward his mom– not him or his sister– because his mom was physically weak.

“She has a weak build, and my students might even be stronger. She has always been that way, even as a kid, and this made it easier to mistreat her,” he recalled.

Eventually, the court had to get involved in his parent’s marriage, too, and they were ultimately forced to get a divorce. After that, his dad still tried to contact him and his sister, claiming to “be there” for them.

“I rejected all the money my dad used to send, but my sister didn’t,” he said.

In fact, his sister kept in communication with their father and even had a close relationship with him. So, he asked his sister to keep it a secret and pretend that she didn’t talk to their dad, at least when their mother was around.

Now that his sister is set to get married in April, though, her relationship with their father has really complicated the big day.

After his sister began planning the wedding, he decided to ask who she wanted to walk her down the aisle– assuming it would either be their mom, their uncle, or him.
