This 35-year-old woman currently has a boyfriend, who is 37. But, there’s one thing about him that makes her infuriated: he has a habit of setting his alarm for 6:30 a.m. every morning, even though he doesn’t actually have to get up at that time.

In fact, 6:30 a.m. is a full hour and a half before either of them really needs to get up. Still, her boyfriend continues to set his alarm for that time every morning and continually “snoozes,” going right back to sleep every single time.

“I, on the other hand, have a lot of trouble falling back asleep and will either roll around for half an hour before managing or just get up earlier,” she said.

She’s tried to talk to her boyfriend about how annoying his habit is, too. In the past, he has also stopped setting his alarm so early for a couple of weeks.

Nonetheless, he always ends up reverting back to his old habit, and she winds up missing out on sleep because of it.

So, just yesterday, before they went to bed, she specifically asked her boyfriend to turn off what she calls his “pre-alarm.”

“Because I had an important call at 8:30 a.m., and I wanted to make sure I was able to get enough sleep,” she recalled.

Well, lo and behold, his alarm still started blaring at 6:30 a.m., and she finally lost it. First, she started screaming at her boyfriend and accusing him of being inconsiderate.

While still half-asleep, he just said, “Sorry,” and fell right back to sleep, which only made her even more annoyed.
