Her Sister Wants Her To Pay After Her Teen Daughter Ate Slices Of Cake While Babysitting Her Sister’s Kids

“But she did want me to give her money because of the cake. I mentioned that surely the cake [would] go bad soon if it [wasn’t] already stale. I said this light-heartedly, trying to lighten the mood, but [I] made it clear I [was] not giving her money.”

Her sister told her she spent $75 on the cake and that she should get paid back around $20 for the slices Carly ate. She refused to pay that.

Then, her sister told her she was being inconsiderate since her daughter ate the cake without her permission.

She felt her sister was being petty and felt that what Carly did was not that big of a deal, considering her niece’s birthday had passed.

Was she wrong to refuse to pay her sister, or was her sister acting petty?
