Two Minutes Into A Date With A Guy, He Ended Things And Said She Wasn’t What He Expected

Yesterday, this woman went on a date with a guy, and it only took 90 seconds for things to get terrible.

Originally, she met this guy through a dating app, and they appeared to have a solid connection. They had a lot in common, and it was easy and fun to talk to him.

He was kind to her, and she was kind to him in return. She really felt like they were forming a genuine connection.

They decided to meet up at a bar for their first date, and as soon as she got there, he asked if she fancied going for a little walk before going inside the bar. She agreed.

Two minutes into their date, as they were chit-chatting about light topics, he just blurted out that he didn’t want to do this. She asked him to clarify, figuring she had misheard what he said.

“And he proceeds to tell me that I’m not what he thought I would be,” she explained. “So I ask him what he was expecting.”

“But he says he’ll refuse to tell me those details and wants to keep it to himself. At that point, I felt he was heavily judging me. And it made me sad and annoyed.”

“I look just like my pictures on Hinge, so I don’t know what he was expecting. Then he mumbles he’s never done this before and quickly walks away. I’m still baffled. He’s a 33-year-old man, I thought he’d know how to treat people nicely.”

She finds the whole thing really just sad because, at the very least, she expected they could have walked away from their date as wonderful friends if it never developed beyond that.
