This 33-year-old guy and his wife, who is 32, have been together ever since they were in college. But now, they are expecting their first baby.

His wife is also a stay-at-home wife despite having a small business on the side.

“And since my business is doing very well for itself after she supported me and helped me through it all, I don’t mind funding her small business,” he said.

Anyway, it was his wife’s birthday just last week, and they only purchased their home about two years ago.

So, ever since they’d moved in, both he and his wife had been content with the property. Sure, they completed a few repairs– which were done in June of last year– but nothing major.

Yet, by September of last year, his wife had begun begging for a brand-new kitchen. He eventually agreed to the remodel, too, and two weeks ago, their contractors finally finished working on the space, and his wife absolutely loved it.

“And I told her, ‘That’s your birthday gift,’ and she laughed and said alright,” he recalled.

Well, when his wife’s birthday actually rolled around, he took her out for dinner at her favorite restaurant. Then, he brought her shopping and gave her a card.

She’s apparently used to getting vacations as a birthday gift, though, so by the end of the day, his wife asked if there was “anything else” for her.
