There are beautiful sights to see in Maine, including their serene beaches. If you love the coastal grandmother aesthetic, Bar Harbor should be on your vacation destination list.
Telluride, Colorado
If you want to avoid high levels of heat but still want to hike and enjoy some mountains during your summer vacation, you should head to Telluride.
You can enjoy hiking trails and camp among the gorgeous scenery, then enjoy a refreshing dip in one of the many nearby lakes.
Burlington, Vermont
Despite the current brief heatwave, the temperatures in Burlington are very pleasant during the summer. My family spent a few summer vacations in rental homes near Burlington, and we always had a great time.
You can rent a bike and go for a fun ride throughout the historical city, then enjoy some time on Lake Champlain.
Block Island, Rhode Island
Once again, this vacation destination is for someone who loves the coastal grandmother aesthetic. If you love the idea of looking outside your window and seeing a gorgeous view of the water or a lighthouse, this is the place for you.
Block Island is a beautiful island off mainland Rhode Island with beaches, cute shops, art galleries, and cozy accommodations. Plus, the average summer temperatures usually stay within the 70s.
If you can’t stand the intense summer heat and are desperate to escape it, I hope I was able to give you some inspiration for your next vacation. Enjoy and stay cool!
