She instantly went to her boyfriend about the video, and he began to panic. She and her boyfriend are the only two people who know that this video exists.
Her boyfriend blurted out that he has some kind of a problem and will definitely be speaking to a professional to get help.
He has since promised he “deleted everything” but she’s doubtful of that, and if he made one secret video, there certainly could be more.
“I need to go to his house still and remove the camera,” she said. “He is basically begging me not to tell her, he says there are other ways for him to reconcile this (therapy).”
“My question is, do I tell the girl? She considers him a friend. We have both hung out with her in a group setting. If I tell her, he will most likely lose a lot of his friend group (I know, his fault) because she is friends with all of his friends.”
“Obviously, I am breaking up with him. I just don’t know if telling her is the right thing to do or if it will just cause more pain. I haven’t been able to talk to anyone about this, and I need some outside clarity on the situation.”
She does have proof if she decides to tell this girl the truth, but she’s struggling with her own judgment.
