“To my surprise, I actually got a second interview. However, I also got a text from my ex saying that he would suggest not hiring me if I did not agree to go to dinner with him.”
She told her ex off, but he sent a follow up message stating that if she would like to land her dream job, they need to seriously sit down and talk about a couple of topics.
He added that if she does go out to dinner with him, he will ensure she lands this job she so desperately wants.
She can’t quite figure out what her ex’s intentions are, but she can kind of see things from his side. If she does end up working at this company, they will have to iron out being polite to one another beforehand.
Despite that, she’s doubting it is a good idea to have dinner with him, so she’s left wondering whether or not to tell him yes or no.
