It’s not like she made an announcement that she and her husband were dipping so they could go have a fun time with some drinks involved; she discreetly told her friends before leaving the wedding.
All of their friends from their college days walked out of the wedding along with them, and they had a wonderful time out on the town.
Since they are all friends of the bride, none of her friends were left at the party, and only the groom’s friends were there.
It didn’t look great that they left, and the bride called all of them jerks for leaving the wedding on the early side.
“She said that she didn’t feel supported and felt like we were spiting her now husband for his sobriety,” she added.
“I told her that she was reading too much into it. We just wanted to go out. She is especially mad at me as I’m looked at as the ringleader of this outing.”
She doesn’t see how she was in the wrong at all, but she’s left wondering if her friend has a right to be so furious with her for leaving the wedding with all their college friends.
