Her mom ultimately gave birth to a baby boy, and her toddler brother is now 3-years-old. Ever since the day her brother was born, she’s pitched in to help care for him, and she adores him.
“My fiancé was also always helpful with my brother; we would take him out for ice cream, playground, pool time during summer, etc.,” she said.
A couple of days ago, she was home alone binge-watching a show on her laptop when it died. Feeling too lazy to get up and grab her charger, she reached for her fiancé’s iPad since she has the password.
She logged into it and saw a slew of messages she recognized as coming from her mom’s phone number, but the name attached to it was different.
Her mom was texting her fiancé, who had been saved in his contacts under a new name, and she saw messages from her mom saying she felt super guilty and should tell her the truth.
She learned from the messages that her fiancé slept with her mom and is actually her toddler brother’s dad.
She had a complete breakdown as she kept reading and waiting for her fiancé to come home that night.
“I wish I was one of those women who can pretend and get things together before confronting the cheater, but I can’t,” she admitted.
He arrived shortly before midnight, and when he walked through the door, she passed him the iPad, open to the conversation he had with her mom about fathering her brother.
She simply asked her fiancé for more information, and he reluctantly gave her the terrible details. A couple of years ago, she was on a girl’s trip with her friends, and her fiancé had dinner with her mom.
This isn’t weird, as her fiancé was literally a part of her family at this point, and they both would have dinner alone with one another’s parents.
