If their kids need to be watched, it’s on her; she can’t rely on her husband to pitch in. When she gave birth to their twins, it was awful, and she needed to be hospitalized for three entire weeks.
Her two older children were terrified that her husband would forget all about them while she was in the hospital, and they were right: her husband did just that.
Her husband forgot to pick their kids up from school. He forgot to make sure they had food. He forgot to give them baths.
There was no excuse for this, as their family helped her husband while she was hospitalized, and still, he couldn’t make sure their kids had their basic needs met.
Later on, last night, she had a birthday dinner at her mom and dad’s house, and her husband showed up for that.
“He was acting normal, or even a bit too excited,” she said. “I was doing my best not to overreact, but when he blew out my birthday candle and laughed, I gave him a glare, and he finally wiped the smile off his face.”
“My sister (who is my best friend) asked what was wrong. And I had to keep my mouth shut. I am just so angry.”
“I am angry that he had the nerve to say that he’s a woman. To have me go through all of this alone. Without talking to ANYONE! Should I tell people? Should I divorce? Should I support him?”
