She Told Her Pregnant Friend The Baby Names She Plans To Use Would Get Her Child Bullied

She tried asking if her friend was completely sure about these baby names. She even suggested that if her friend was dead set on these names, they could just be used as middle names.

Well, her friend didn’t understand why she was giving some pushback. So, she was forced to be honest.

“I flat out told her the kid would get bullied if she named them that,” she recalled.

Growing up, she actually got bullied for her name – despite having a “somewhat normal” one. That’s why she knows just how mean kids can be, and she didn’t want her friend’s kid to deal with the same thing.

Rather than understanding her perspective, though, her friend became super upset – accusing her of being both unsupportive and a horrible friend.

Ever since then, her friend has been ignoring her texts for the past week, too.

“And I’m starting to feel really guilty over what I said,” she vented.

So now, she’s been left wondering if saying her pregnant friend’s baby names would get their child bullied was actually a jerky move.

Do you agree that her friend’s baby name ideas are a recipe for disaster? Should she have kept that to herself, or did her friend need to know the truth? What would you have done?
