Suddenly, her husband name-dropped a random woman and said she was sharing the room with him.
Shocked, she immediately asked him for more details, and he told her he had to share a room with a woman from the bowling league. He said she had met this woman before, but she couldn’t remember her.
Her husband said that while he was supposed to share a room with his mom’s boyfriend, plans had changed, so he got paired with this woman.
“He did not understand why I was upset or frustrated, so I dropped it because I did not want to deter from his time and his bowling,” she said.
“I should have asked how he would have felt if the roles had been reversed, but I didn’t, partly because I didn’t want to fight.”
Now, she can’t get the thought of her husband sharing such a close and personal space with a woman she hardly knows, and she is having an increasingly difficult time hiding her feelings.
