Her in-laws have been mentioning they want to buy a house in Greece and wish to join them for an even longer stretch when they visit next year.
Still, they never once apologized for their last-minute plans or intruding on their vacation without asking.
“They seem to either not understand that dictating what two weeks of our summer will look like with no consultation crossed a line, or perhaps they don’t care,” she said.
“Either way, any ounce of trust or respect I have for them has evaporated.”
