New CDC Report Suggests That More Children Are Being Diagnosed With Autism, And At Younger Ages

Autism diagnoses were also the same across races and ethnicities, except in Maryland and Minnesota. In those states, higher rates were identified among Black children.

This shift represents a trend reversal since the U.S. previously reported much higher rates among white children.

Overall, these numbers indicate some positive changes in our healthcare system. More healthcare accessibility has finally begun to allow all children to receive the help they need.
