The Worst Statements People Can Include In Their Dating App Bios Have Been Revealed In An Outrageous Reddit Thread

The pressure to have the “perfect profile” on dating apps is real. And after selecting your favorite photos to include, the real challenge begins while writing your bio.
How long should bios be? How much information is too much information? And are emojis frowned upon?
It is not uncommon for dating app users to spend a long time pondering an ideal one-liner or clever joke to include. But, it might help to know what people on the internet immediately get turned off by in dating app blurbs.
Thankfully, one Reddit user recently asked people to share the “worst thing” that someone can include in their bio. And some of them are downright red flags.
Any Cheaters. Period.
“When they say, ‘No face picture until I know you don’t know my husband or wife.’ I have seen this multiple times.”
“Or, alternatively, ‘I’m either cheating or trying to cheat.”

Yikes.
When People Say “Entertain Me.”
“If you want to see someone jump through unnecessary hoops to impress you, the circus is always an option.”
“Literally, the most boring people have this. If you were not boring, you would be able to have fun with just about anyone.”
“I don’t even bother looking at a profile if I see this. It repulses me.”
When People Have Salary Expectations
“A requirement of a six-figure income by someone who works part-time at an ice cream stand during the summer.”
“This is the worst. I have seen women require a six-figure income, but when I ask about their work and income, it’s below six figures. A lot of the time, it’s below fifty thousand. Makes no sense at all.”
If A Man Calls Themselves An “Alpha Male”
“In other words, ‘I’m controlling AF, and I am going to take all my anger out on you, and you have to be okay with it.'”
“Anything that relates to animal dynamics, I just assume they are a jerk.”
And When People Literally Write Nothing
“This is definitely the worst. People write jerky stuff that lacks self-awareness all the time. But, that is actually better than this because they are writing their own warning labels.”
“Instead, these blank profile people cannot even give us that much due diligence. So, if you swipe right on them, you have no idea whatsoever what situation you are running into.”
“It’s worse than eating from unlabeled cans in the pantry.”
Touché.
