He Called The Police After His Fiancée Never Came Home, But Then They Showed Up At Her New Job To Check On Her, And Now She Is Furious

However, at 7:00 a.m. the next morning, his fiancée apparently came waltzing through the front door– completely unharmed.

Then, his fiancée apologized, said she had no excuse for being out all night, and told him what happened.

His fiancée claimed that while she was driving home, she became tired and did not want to fall asleep behind the wheel. So, she pulled over and decided to take a nap.

“But, when she did that, she found that her brand new phone had stopped working. She said she napped anyway because it was the responsible thing to do, and then came home at 7:00 a.m. to bring the kids to school and get to work on time,” he explained.

She was at least safe, and he was relieved to have his fiancée home. So, he called the police and told them that they could call off any search efforts– which they did. However, the true problem did not arise until later that afternoon.

After his fiancée brought the kids to school and left for work, he started cleaning the house to help de-stress. Then, while alone at home, he got a call from a police officer.

The officer was asking for the address of his fiancée’s job, and when he asked why, the officer revealed that it is customary to do a wellness check after a missing person is found.

He immediately asked the officer to just give his fiancée a call instead of showing up at her office. But, the officer said he could not guarantee anything.

And later that day, a police officer apparently showed up at his fiancée’s job– where she had just started working– and asked to speak with her. So now, his fiancée is livid.

“She is now enraged at me for calling the police and ‘sending a cop to her work’ and making her look bad,” he vented.

In fact, his fiancée has accused him of completely overreacting and punishing her for “doing the responsible thing and not driving while drowsy.”
