She Used To Work In Retail And A Customer Once Tried Returning A Lottery Ticket Because They Didn’t Win

“Yeah, and I didn’t win,” retorted the customer.

The customer then complained that they weren’t satisfied with the product and “knew their rights.” However, Charlie knows the rules of the lottery, and that’s not how this works.

The customer continued to press Charlie for their money back and, in the end, threatened to call the corporate office.

“Please do. We’ll give them a laugh,” Charlie replied to the threat.

Some TikTok users shared their own customer service stories, letting Charlie know she isn’t alone when it comes to dealing with clueless shoppers and restaurant patrons.

“There’s nothing so infuriating as dealing with the public,” declared one user.

“I once had someone want to return a frozen pizza she already ate. She only brought the pizza wrapper,” commented another.

“I had a customer PAY for a ham and chicken bloomer to then come up to me and say, ‘does this have meat in it? I’m a vegetarian I can’t have it,'” wrote a third.

Do you have any wild stories from working in customer service?
