He Kicked His Mom Out Of His House After Another Instance Of Her Treating His Stepson In A Nasty And Negative Way
Growing up, did your grandparents ever treat you differently from other family members like your siblings or cousins?
One man is reeling after getting fed up with his parents treating his stepsons differently than his biological children.
He’s part of a blended family, as his wife has two teenage sons from a previous marriage, he has two daughters from a previous marriage, and they have an almost two-year-old son.
“All our kids get along well, and we have a good relationship with each other’s children,” he said.
However, there’s been an ongoing issue with his parents. They are not nearly as loving towards his two teenage stepsons as the rest of his kids.
He explained that there have been a bunch of instances that have added up and shown him that they don’t appreciate his stepsons enough.
For instance, they never give the two sons any birthday presents and hardly give them anything at Christmas.
He noted that his dad has made more effort than his mom. For example, his dad recently went with him and his stepsons to a football game. They had a great time. However, his mom’s most recent visit went terribly.
She stayed over at the house for his daughter’s 10th birthday recently. She slept in his eldest stepson’s bedroom but never once thanked him for letting her use the space.

She also tried to lock him out of his own room whenever he needed to grab something occasionally. Despite it all, his stepson remained polite to his grandmother during the visit.
However, things really took a turn for the worst after his mom freaked out at his youngest stepson, who was outside playing with their toddler and a basketball. His stepson accidentally tossed the basketball at the toddler a little too hard, causing him to fall over.
Upon seeing this, his mom freaked out, grabbed his stepson by the arm, and berated him. She told him he was dangerous and an awful brother to “her grandson.” She even accused him of hurting his little brother on purpose.
When he got home from work, he found his youngest stepson sulking in his room after the incident and hearing about everything that had happened.
His stepson was unhappy with how the entire visit with his grandmother had gone and asked why she hated him and his brother.
He became so angry with his mom that after talking with his wife, he decided to tell her to leave his house and cut her visit short.
“I decided to ask my mom to leave and told her she wouldn’t be welcome back until she corrected her attitude towards my stepsons,” he recalled.
“Of course, she didn’t take this well, and after she argued with me for over an hour [after], she left.”
Later, he received a call from his dad, who was just as upset with him and wouldn’t listen to his side of the story, so he hung up. His siblings found out about him kicking out his mom and are also angry with him.
“I feel I did the right thing to protect my stepsons, but my siblings are also upset with me,” he added.
“Even my wife thinks we shouldn’t have kicked her out but instead talked to her and given her a chance to change her behavior.”
