After all, Maggie was not directly attacking her; instead, her stepsister was just inappropriately sharing some feelings that had been bottled up.
Still, despite her dad’s perspective, she feels differently.
“To me, I felt like Maggie was using my important life event to draw attention to herself, which felt unfair and mean-spirited,” she vented.
Nonetheless, since Maggie still has not gotten over her remark at dinner, she’s been left wondering whether claiming that no one cared about her stepsister’s wedding was a jerky thing to do.
