She never showed up for any shows or competitions and gave him an ultimatum in the fall. She told him he needed to find a new job or find a new wife.
“Unfortunately, we have now been separated for two weeks,” he said.
“As far as I know, I think she’s in an apartment 25 minutes away. I’m in our house.”
About a month ago, his marching band had a very important performance in their city. Two nights before, they gave friends and family a private showing of that performance. He hoped his wife would show up, but she didn’t.
“She refused to come and expressed to me how she didn’t like the music we did, and it wasn’t enjoyable for her,” he added.
“I simply wanted her support.”
Did he do the right thing by not giving up a career he loves for his wife?
