Suzanne began screaming at her and telling her the dog was sick and at the vet’s office. She texted her gardener to find out what the dog had eaten, but he wasn’t answering, so she had to tell Suzanne she was out of luck.
Then, she started getting calls from a mutual friend of theirs who was also asking about the plants on behalf of Suzanne. When she told her she didn’t know what the dog ate, she was accused of not caring if the dog died.
“I feel bad, but I told her not to bring her dog on my property, so I don’t feel responsible like she says I am,” she explained.
Suzanne continued to send her many nasty phone calls and texts while waiting with her sick dog at the vet. She finally heard from the gardener, who couldn’t exactly tell what the dog had eaten by the pictures she sent, but guessed the dog had gotten into some potatoes.
In the end, it may have been some pesticides he used that made it sick.
Thankfully, Suzanne’s dog was able to recover in a dog hospital, but she ended up having to block Suzanne’s number. The entire incident has made her drop her as a friend.
Does she owe Suzanne an apology, or was it Suzanne’s fault that her dog got sick?
