Sabrina would much rather have someone who texts her every couple of days with intention than receive a daily good morning text that leads to nothing but false expectations.
Several TikTok users agreed with Sabrina’s take and pointed out that a good morning text is actually a red flag rather than a sign of genuine affection.
“I was talking to one guy who set alarms to message people their GM/GN texts,” commented one user.
“He texted me for a whole year religiously long distance and still blocked me. Then I met a busy surgeon, not a good texter, who married me within two months,” shared another.
“Yup, I ditched the ones that said ‘good morning.’ Is that all you got?” wrote a third.
Are you a fan of the good morning text? Or do you find it highly annoying?
